O rings

Operating Parameters : Sealing of Static as well as reciprocating pistons, rods, plunger etc. upto 100 bar
Speed : 0.5 M/s
Temp : up to 220 deg c
O rings
- O rings are generally divided into two main group.
- Static seals in which there is little or no relative motion between the mating surfaces and dynamic seals which function between surfaces with definite relative motion such as the seal on the piston of hydraulic cylinder. Also used in vacuum sealing
- O rings are manufactured as per AS 568, BS, R, ISO 3601, GR, SW, JAP std. – G, P, S, V series with tolerances as per DIN 3771/1, ISO 3601/1, NFT-47- 501 G , IS 9975
Quad rings/X-Rings

Operating Parameters : Sealing of reciprocating pistons, rods, plunger etc. upto 50 bar without back up ring & upto400bar with back up ring.
Speed : 0.5 M/s
Sealing oscillating, rotating or spiral movements on shafts, spindles, rotary transmission lead- through etc. upto 150 bar with back up ring.
Speed : 2 M/s Temp :up to 220 deg c
Quad rings/X-Rings
- X- rings are four lobbed seals with a specially developed sealing profile. Advantages – Avoid twisting in the groove, low friction, very good sealing efficiency.
- These Seals have a unique multiple point seal contact design. With two sealing surfaces, there is greater seal protection when used as ID seal, OD seal, or face seal.
- Longer life because of reduce squeeze. Equipment operates longer and requires less maintenance.
- Application – Radial as well as axial static seal up to 50 bar without back up ring & up to 400bar with back up ring.
